Cllr. John Tillotson (Vice-chairman)
Cllr. John Tillotson has resided in the parish since 2008. Prior to that I was a resident in Kibworth Beauchamp for many years. I am a widoer aged 83. I am now retired but previously had a long career as a solicitor practising in Market Harborough for 44 years.
I served on KBPC for 16 years from 1978 until 1994 being chairman and elected twice. I was also chairman for Gaulby parish council from 1999 until 2004.
I am currently chairman of Market Harborough Civic society to whom HDC have since 1974 delegated the scrutiny of plans for the town in the absence of a town or parish council.
I am presently Clerk to Illston Parish estate registered charity No 246616 which I have served for 50 years.
I am interested in community affairs particularly planning & related matters as evidence by my periodic attendance at KHPC meetings and correspondence with the Clerks of KBPC & KHPC from time to time. I have a working knowledge of PC law & practise.
