Warwick Park playground open after burnt area fenced off

Today, Monday 11th October, the parish groundsperson and councillors were on site to remove sharp metal pieces and bolts and covered up the worst patches with soil. The area has been fenced off with canes, green plastic fencing and warning tape temporarily until a more permanent solution can be implemented. This sign recently erected on Jubilee Green, Main Street, Kibworth Harcourt gives advice about using the four items of adult exercise equipment that the parish council had installed in 2020. Now the weather is fine, please go along and try the equipment - all outdoor, and easy to use.

St George's Day flag flying over Jubilee Green

After the embarrassment of 2020 when the wrong flag was nearly raised, but didn't happen because the inner workings of the flag pole on Jubilee Green were jammed.

This year, 2021, the Parish Council clerk and chairman, successfully lowered the half-mast union flag and replaced it with the newly purchased England flag flying from the top of the flagpole.
