Speed cameras either side of Jubilee Green a step nearer
Today, 25 April, two lamp columns - one on Main Street and the other on Albert Street, were structurally tested to be sure they can take the weight of Vehicle Activated Signs that will show drivers their speed - hopefully 30mph or lower! This is the first stage required by the Highways Authority in preparation for the actual VAS to be installed later this year.

The weather is picking up and we have the lovely Spring sunshine on its way. With more people out and about this is just a polite reminder to ask members of the public to keep to public footpaths and keep their dogs on the lead and under control, with it being lambing season it is important that dogs are not exercising over fields.

FREE Activity sessions starting again
The very successful FREE activity sessions run by Fiesta Sports Coaching in the Kibworth Grammar School Hall before the Christmas beak, are starting again from 18th January to early March. Fraudsters are posing as family members on WhatsApp to manipulate victims into transferring money. Kibworth Harcourt Christmas Tree lighting today
The annual tree lighting event takes place tonight at 6.30pm outside the Old House on Main Street, Kibworth Harcourt - opposite Jubilee Green. Members of Kibworth Band and Kibworth Ladies choir will be there to play seasonal music. There will be some seasonal refreshments provided by residents.
