Kibworths Play Areas re-opened
Since Saturday 4th July our play areas (Jubilee Green, Polwell Road, Smeeton Road Rec) have re-opened in accordance with the government guidelines. Warwick Park play area has been having new fencing, gates and benches fitted and also re-opened on Thursday 9th July.

Some Recycling and Household Waste Sites (Tips) re-opening
From 18th May, seven of the county's 14 tips will be re-opening 7 days a week. Sadly the Kibworth tip is not one of these seven.
Due to social distancing the Kibworth tip with its steps up to the skips to discard of waste is not suitable. Instead both Market Harborough tip on Riverside and the Oadby tip will be re-opening. Opening times 9am to 5pm.

Virtual parish council meetings
On 2nd April, three parish councillors - Cllrs Feltham, Newnes and Pitcher, held a brief virtual meeting using the Zoom application that the clerk, Sara Barrett, had set up. National regulations for holding virtual council meetings are being legislated and we are awaiting guidance after Easter about how to include public participation until physical meetings resume.
